Introduction
The SAFE Family Ministries (SFM) is a nonprofit Christian service ministry whose purpose is to bring emotional, physical and spiritual wellness to those who have suffered low self esteem from sexual, drug, social, emotional and physical abuses from others, or self inflicted. To equip women to break free from destructive habits. To make good decisions. To set realistic goals with a plan to obtain them.

The Organization
SFM was founded in 2005 with the purpose of providing transitional housing and lifestyle training for women and children of Southwestern Washington. The 16.65 acre location was originally leased an to provide these services has the capacity for up to 70 secure family units, as well as additional facilities for classrooms, training areas, campsites and other ministry opportunities.  In 2008, the facility was purchased with God's providence and the generosity of His people.

Our management team consists of the board of directors and officers of SFM working closely with the executive director. The board of directors are all experts in various fields and provide their expertise to the organization on a pro-bono basis. Ultimately the work will be divided among volunteers and the executive director may need to add counseling staff to support the volunteer team.

Services
SFM provides a variety of faith based services for at risk woman in Southwest Washington regardless of the women's race or religious beliefs. We provide these services in a tranquil, safe and secure environment in a rural setting.

SFM minister to at risk women who need transitional housing, meals (including nutritional education), lifestyle training, financial stewardship training, Christian counseling, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, pregnancy/prenatal care training and other education as needed. In addition to servicing the needs of individuals, our purpose is also to assist in the process of family healing and reconciliation.

Our services will be provided by a mixture of paid and volunteer personnel who have a variety of expertise and experience.

Among the services planned for the future are: job enrichment training and placement services in cooperation with various Christian job placement and training organizations.
